It was the last day of school before break. Danny was sitting in Math class wishing to be anywhere but there. Just as his daydreams were about to get the best of him, his phone vibrated. The message was from Kimmie, his girlfriend of almost two years. ‘Only 20 min til break!’ the message read. Responding with a smily face and an “oh yea”, Danny stuffed his phone away before Mr. Harris saw anything. Even this close to break, Harris was still a stickler for the “No Phones In Class” rule and confiscated any that he saw. Danny was just about to fall asleep when a beautiful sound reached his ears. “Ding, Ding, Ding”. It was over, school was over for 2 weeks for the Fall Break and Danny knew what to do. Party, Kimmie, Sleep, Work, in no particular order. As he reached his car, a sweet sound floated toward him, the melodious sound of Kimmie’s voice was music to his ears.
“You weren’t at you locker, you must want to get out of here fast” she said.
“Yes, as fast as possible” he replied. They got in the car and left.
