I like the invocation of the atmosphere in this piece. Sometimes sexuality is so much more sexual when some of the common elements of normal social interaction are different or not present.
I like the ambiguity the omittance of names supplies; the narrator could be male or female, as the reader chooses. Similarly, a lot can be inferred from a name, and leaving that out leaves that much more to the reader’s imagination. Is the woman a Jane, a Bambi, or somewhere in between?
