Fun little bit of hitchhiking fanfic (is that an accurate description, or just one borrowed device?).

Almost a fanfic of sorts… more like a variation on a theme by Adams, really. But I’m a bit surprised it’s taken this long for someone to realize there was a particular reason for all the h2g2 references in this whole string (h2g2 was even a tag!). Ah well, better late than never, no?
