Falling fast.

They stood on the end of forever.
The sun was shining bright over the calm, rolling sea.

They both knew what they had to do.
The sun set behind them as their lips touched ever so gently.

The sun was gone.

They lost eye contact for a moment, and when it came back there were tears in both of their eyes.
As if they had been in sync with each other their whole lives, they both felt the air rushing through their ears at the same time.

Their eyes were closed.
Their hearts were beating at the same time.

Splash.
