literacy IN constant observation, I think you mean; reading people’s stories by their actions, their settings, their expressions. Literacy is the ability to read.. which gives knowledge. Libraries are full of worlds; worlds of words.

There are so many literacies. My favorite literacy is the learning from gained from “reading” others, consciously, unconsciously. However, I wouldn’t be afforded this opportunity if people didn’t express the literacies they have obtained through their different needs. For instances, learning to love slelflessly as a mother does, is to become literate in a type of mother child relationship. It is knowledge based on need, the child’s need for the mother in many ways and vice versa. We are literate in many ways besides the ability to read signs and symbols on paper ( or screen). you with me ? :)
