This is disturbing. I would have tried to make it more poetic and ambigoius and saved the reveal to the end.

When I was directed to this site, I didn’t realize just how short the stories had to be. I plan on making it a 4 part series, from 4-6 years old (done), 10-13 years old (done), 15-17 years old (incomplete), and finally 17 to adulthood (incomplete). Given how short it is, you are right, more poetic would’ve been better but again, I was trying to tell the story (not poem) through the simple eyes of my 4 year old self. It is disturbing, I know because I lived it, and this is now a new approach to understand and make peace with it. I will use this shortened version to write a new longer version (a version I originally though I could put on here.). Thanks for the insight, I appreciate it.
