Lucky You, Unlucky Me
You win the lottery,
 I find a penny.
 You run out of ideas,
 I’ve got many.
I was the best for you,
You seemed to be the best for me.
 I gave you my heart,
What you returned was infested with fleas.
You had it all,
 I thought I did too.
But now it seems that what I really had,
 Was completely untrue.
It was all too easy,
 For you to move on.
For me, on the other hand,
My feelings are not so quickly withdrawn.
I trusted you with my prized possession,
And now all I can do is see…
That this relationship was entirely based,
On a lucky you, and an unlucky me.
