Fun little mystery, a la ‘National Treasure’. Pacing feels a bit off, perhaps too quick on account of the character limit? Just felt like the events were of greater import than was evidenced by the amount of time spent on them.

You’re right THX 0477, pacing these stories is a bit of a challenge. I’ve taken 1,200 words worth of setup and trimmed them down to 600. Pacing will suffer in one of these setup stories.

Marli, I do have a sequel in mind, but it may turn into two or three because of the word limit.
