Autumn

Autumn
Teens groaning with books again
As leaves come tumbling
Children tumbling in piles
Hard work ruined, parents grumble
While walking goblins and doctors
Down the street, begging for one last stop
Pumpkins grinning ear to ear.
Jackets pulled out, hopefully no mothholes
Cuddling for warmth on cool clear nights
Big birds stuffed with yummy food
Families whole sitting all together
Heads all bowed low, while one another gives
Thanks.
