Fresh from a few hours ago… dinner was good, but the martini was a lot better company than the date.

Is bonsoir the masculine version of bonjour or something? lol I take spanish, so french is beyond me.

Anyway that part where she’s “always late, lol” is cool because it’s kinda like that’s what she wrote in her text and it’s a direct quote. idk if that’s what you meant, but I liked it nonetheless, even though it’s a tiny detail.

Bonsoir is “goodnight” (to bonjour’s literal “good day”).

And glad you liked the text – that’s exactly what I intended, and I think it’s my favorite bit of this one.

I don’t normally drink, but the chance to share that martini was delicious. Although next time, I’ll skip the olive.

Really liked all the description in the story, it made the scene pop out for me. And wow, she was really late (lol).
