Three hours later at 5:30, Danny pressed stop on the dvd. They had watched the whole movie and some of the special features just because they could. Realizing what time it was, both Dan and Kim made their way out the door to go help Gary set up. As they reached the kitchen to get Danny’s keys, his mom was making dinner for a romantic night alone with Danny’s father. After they discussed the plans the teens were out the door faster than light, eager to get the night going. As they drove to Gary’s house, something inside both the kids made them feel like this night was going to be more than just a party with friends. Reaching their destination, Gary greeted them at his driveway with a big smile and some soda. They toasted to no more school and got down to business. Since this party was rumored to be huge, more than Dan and Kim showed up to help. Balloons, tiki torches, and a hell of a lot of soda was already being set up. After a while Danny pulled Kimmie aside.
“Got a feeling something is going to happen…”
