sometimes it feels like we are stuck in quicksand going through life, the harder we struggle, the worse off we are. We need someone with a rope, some directions, and a little tutorial.

I’ll echo the cute statement. Felt like a good analogy for stumbling along through life not even sure of what is keeping you down or from getting where you’re going.

I’m with Elsha though. The last line seems like a bit of a teaser. Either needs a second stanza to explain or maybe left off to leave the poem as a descriptor of a feeling.

I’m not exactly sure if I got out of the square but the light did help me see if there happen to be a way to get out so i thought i would just let it hang there lol
