Well, this got a lot longer than I thought it was going to be. Somewhat indulgent of me.

I followed the series being a sports fan. It did take a while to write it all but a lot more goes on out there on that field than people perceive. You’re not just all ‘dumb football’ players. Spoken from a true cheerleader! Go Boys! Pencils for the series!

I don’t know enough about football to fully follow a game and a certainly would not call myself a sports fan, but for some reason, maybe because I loved softball so much, I always find myself in love with sports fiction. Movies, books,…ficlys. :)

This is good enough that someone who doesn’t understand the terminology can still appreciate it. Often it is the things we write for ourselves that have the most of ourselves in them, and the writing follows.

Great moment. I thought this was the best of the trio. Very clear, easy to follow, and exciting.

Dare I say it… great follow-through?! Really though: the ending made for a decent pay-off, and it felt kinda cool and rare to be getting an inside monologue.
