The Camp

10 years ago, Bill and Jackie were taking their son, Atticus, to his first day of the 1st grade when the outbreak happened. Since the worst of the outbreak happened in military towns the Colby’s home town was not hit as hard, but never-the-less it was hit and within months the quaint little town, a town that did not even own a stop light, was near nothing, nothing but the strong.

It took a lot for Bill to save his family. He had to do things that he never would have imagined himself doing, and though his purpose was to preserve his loved ones, he was still haunted by what he saw and what had to be done. Through the years he has managed to move on and the pain from killing what some would consider already dead had dulled to the sharpness of a kids first pocket knife. The hesitation of pulling a trigger or swinging a blade had disappeared. It did not take long for the remaining survivors to join together at the new town – The Camp.
