That is gross, but it’s worse when you spend 44 out of the 45 minutes in class absentmindingly trying to scrape off whatever that sharp thing that’s stuck to the bottom the desk… only to have it fall off in your hand, leaving you with the realization that it’s someone’s year old crusty booger.

And here I thought that was going somewhere deep and meaningful, but this works too. Adolescence is a rough time, and it’s moments like this that scar a person for life. Nicely done. And I really need to start paying attention to whether or not a story is in a challenge before I read it.
