Awesome play on words!

Beautiful and inspires awe, disappointment, and fear all at the same time. It sort of works as a combination of sci-fi (space exploration) and ancient myth (sky as blanket or covering) I thought.

Wow, I was listening to Vangelis while reading this, it worked quite well lol.

Excellent story. A terrific little vignette, that is beautifully complete in and of itself. Nice pun, too.
