This was an original Ficlet that I wrote for a challenge asking us to write a ficlet about a favorite song.

These were my comments then:

“Based on a song by Ronnie James Dio, called Invisible.
Story inspired by these lines:

“The only way, to really stay, is to walk right out the door,
“You can go away, You can Leave here,
“I can be invisible and go away.”

and:

“You never touch me you never feel me you’ll never see me again because I’ve just become unseen”"

i love the cruel shocking end, i hope she gets a new identity! i do remember this.

It’s depressing but hopeful. Who hasn’t at least daydreamed about starting over in a new place with a new identity? I loved the last line in particular.

Wow this is really good i think i remember it in the old country.
