Yes. Much. Charles Foster Kane was definitely a finely dressed gentleman man who got everything that he thirsted for and then drank it. Maybe Rosebud was some good old fashioned mixed drink the tavern lost. I think it explains much, much, much of everything. I guess Rosebud is in no way just a piece in a jigsaw puzzle — it is so much more than a missing piece.

He chews the jigsaw pieces up nice and good, snarling at his watch.
