Blood Right

I inhaled the crisp night air, the sweet scent of my next victim carried on the gentle midnight breeze. I salivated as I thought of the ambrosia that coursed through her veins. She wouldn’t be able to escape me for I am more than human, she couldn’t out run me or fight me off for I am too perfect a predator. My enhanced senses made the dead night become so much more, the gentle crickets chirp sounded harsh to my sensitive ears. Among the chaos of chirping I heard her distant foot steps, they were so dainty like she was a lamb skipping down the street. She was getting closer and I contemplated what I was about to do, hunt for my first time, take a life for the first time. I had been thrown into a world that I thought was just myth but now I don’t know what to think, but for now I should focus on the hunt. She was close a few more steps and I go in for the kill, she is under neath me now, she cant see me under the cover of the foliage. I lunged but I was too late, turned out that I was her prey.
