So then, I had an umpteen hour layover in Dubai. That’s one place I never want to back to. It’s so steaming hot over there. We landed at 4 in the morning and when we landed it was 35*C (96*F) and by the time we left at 1 PM it was approaching the 50’s! (mid 120) God damn it’s hot! But anyways when you enter the country if you are not American, EU citizen, or Japanese you have to prove that you make the equivalent of $30,000 USD or pay a $125 visa entry fee! Crazy huh? but after being there I can see why. I was tired so I and these two Dutch people i met at the airport decided to check into a hotel or something. The hotel manager at the airport said that the cost of the hotel for one night was $135 USD. CRAZY! so we decided to pass and check out the city. The cheapest hostel we could find was $135 USD for one night. F-that! so we decided to explore!
