you know, for some reason i expected that ending, but i think that’s because i watch too much tv, particularly to many tv crime shows… that or you set it up really well. (i’ll go with a bit of both)
just a grammer comment for now: "Four hours into this, the most dangerous, game, one trip over a few loose twigs marked the beginning of the end. " it needs a rewrite. It’s a bit confusing.
Yeah, that sentence has been irking me for a while :/ What I mean is that four hours into this game (which happens to be the most dangerous game) it starts to end with something as small as tripping over a twig.
btw, lol isn’t it spelled “grammar”? Unless you’re talking about Kelsey Grammer lol.
Yes, there was a serial killer in the early 80s who took women into the woods and made them run for hours so he could hunt them with a rifle like animals. In the 20s there was a short story written called “The Most Dangerous Game” which is about a game hunter who gets stuck on an island and ends up being hunted by this Russian guy who was already on the island. My favorite episode of Cold Case had an episode about a serial killer who hunted women also, which was based on the serial killer mentioned earlier, so I based this on those things.
This is great! There’s a movie similar to this that I saw years ago but I love your description. At first I was picturing one of those things you see on National Geographic where you cheer on the one animal even though you know the other is going to rip it apart any second.
