You know, I could have sworn that the point of this site was that people wrote sequels to whatever story they wanted to.

sequels are the point robotech, he’s just saying that when he judges the challenge, that this series is in, he won’t be able to consider the greatness of your sequel in judgeing the winner, because it falls outside the rules. Rules be rules, you know.

Great take on a societal reaction to tragedy. I can just see the wave of muffin movies replacing WWII movies as our epics for the horror of existence and the triumph of goodness over that horror.
