Hunter: Keep Running

Breathing heavily I spun down one street to see no one at the end. I kept running, when suddenly, there was a foot in front of me. I saw it and managed to leap over it, but the person raised their foot and sent me crashing down. I pushed myself off the asphalt, blood gushing from my nose as someone grabbed me arms out from under me and held me up. Someone grabbed a penlight and shone it into my eye, making me growl. Loudly. They just came in closer, and as I struggled to get my arms free, his own arm flashed out to hold me still with his partner’s help. I snarled now, showing him sharp white teeth, but he did not move.

Shining the light into my eyes, he tilted my head up to the moon. It was a half moon, but my eyes reacted to it, apparently, because he drew in a sharp breath, then motioned to hsi partner. Something pricked my wrist, and then I felt ice sliding through my veins.In seconds my view of the moon slowly faded, and like the tides, the blackness just washed over me…
