I have spent all of today trying to catch up to this marvellously twisted world that you have crafted; I even dug up the old Ficlets portions, hence why I’m here now. this, of all of them to me seemed to be the most engaging. Hmm… Should the consciousness within the cube be… well… conscious? Because it would be no fun if Jeanette just rooted through his memories with no resistance, and besides, maybe she’d get to explain her… situation to someone.
They’ll be conscious when they’re accessed. They’re just stored in the cube. It’s like a really really big USB drive or CD-ROM. The programs need to be brought up on a computer to run them. Certainly that’s what Jeanette is planning, in order to be able to “ask some questions”.
Thanks for reading! I really appreciate the kind words.
