Are you excavating a well? should be ¿Excava usted un bien?

What you have (estas escarbando un pozo) technically means “You are scratching a well?” Also, usted should be used in the place of estas, since estas is more informal.

Aside from that, great job! The imagery was creep and I got chills at the “Yes, it is for you.” part.
