Nice conclusion, though sadly healing isn’t so easy. Does make me wonder if healing would be easier or harder with the perpetrator dead (ideas of justice and lack of realistic, ongoing fear vs. punishment, closure, etc.).

More one-dimensional at least, THX 0477. He can be the bad guy if he’s dead. If he’s alive she’d soon find more shades of gray, and that can be unhealthy if you’re trying to get over something.
