Neat take. I hadn’t thought of the whole priest scenario as prequel or backstory, but this does make fit together quite nicely. I loved the last thing he says as a way to tie it all back around to the beginning.

I’m so happy someone moved this on – and so well… The plot really kicks in here – I’ll certainly think about coming back into this series imminently :) Good job! MH

Well, I may have disturbed the chronology here. I’m not sure.
I understood it to be this:
Wolf blows up Peter,
Wolf leaves country,
Wolf kills priest,
Wolf gets drunk in area of murder,
Wolf gets recruited by mysterious suit.
