I like the direction you’ve taken this in, and much as some entries have stuck with the style of the inspiration, this one treats it almost like a prologue, and launches into some plot in the sequel…

My only suggestion would be that perhaps keeping some of the metaphor of ‘Broken’ would enhance what you’ve done? MH

and that was truly the only way to sequel, to launch into a backstory. :)

guess it could have been, i just assumed that since i wrote it, people would think i took the female perspective, ever notice how you think all the protagonists are the same sex as the author? or maybe i just identified with her first.
