oh great job tying in the prayer for the return of the long named one! I couldn’t help but picture a sort of “reign of Fire” thing going on, and that movie was BAAAD.. but your story is NOT. I think you did a great job keeping with the tone of the prequel as well.

Nice sort of fantasy aspect. Gives a new thriller-esq, epic, protector of mankind aspect to my original story. Now I feel like Mel is like… I dunno, Aslan I guess.

Oh, I really like it when authors light a spark in other writers.

I really like this… It turns the religious, epic tone of the inspiration into something equally as epic with more humanity and grit to it, impressive :)
