On the downside

Of course, the only problem I had now was the raging horde of vigilantes that were now hunting me down.

This wouldn’t have been too bad, except they were led by my wife and she knew me just a little too well. They managed to find most of my hidey holes before I even got there.

Darn it!

But then. Maybe I wasn’t pursuing the correct strategy. I mean, I’ve played plenty of those shoot ’em up games when we had those things they called computers and video games, and I always came out on top.

All I had to do was leap over this mound of faintly glowing radioactive rubble, gun blazing, and take them all down with a few rounds of carefully placed lead.
