the first one seems plausible- if she didn’t end up dying for it, and yeah, speaking would definitely help, otherwise you’d be sure a guy only liked you for your looks!

yeah maybe that is one take on it, another is be weary of any woman with that much eye make up.

This is brilliant.

Don’t like. This could be any of a thousand stories. You need to capture the mermaid-y bit of it.

That was kinda the point, just that all of the stories are the same, regardless of the bits that try to make them individual.

But, I concede, I could probably have done this a lot better.
