The New York skyline has been painted and photographed more times than I could count. Yet the smaller, less silhouetted of those buildings are ignored. There’s something so dramatic and eye-catching about the height and lights of sky-scrapers. After all, this is America. the bigger. The better.

Redwoods and autumn maples are constantly being visited. To touch their smell or gaze at their wonder. The amount of people who come to see the colors is intense. The redwoods of California have always been a popular event. It’s the leaves and branches at the very top that everyone is twisting their neck to see. When it’s the roots on the ground we have to thank this for.

There are no people more lusted after than “the beautiful people.” Celebrities, in simpler terms. When the camera makes everyone look a bit taller and models are already six inches higher than the rest, there isn’t much to say about the shorter people in the media. The Olsen twins are five-oh but you’d never guess that in the paparazzi.
