This is somewhat inspired by ‘Starplex’ by Robert J. Sawyer, and also ‘The Time Ships’ by Stephen Baxter that I just finished.

This is so lovely, and of course the all encompassing story-loop does indeed make it damn tricky to sequel!

‘They made war and spectacular ways’ – I’m not sure whether this line makes sense, and you reference war-making earlier in the story so it feels a little repetitive – I’m not sure whether here you’re implying some kind of intergalactic war, but you might want to clarify a little…

But bravo, a stellar entry :)

Congrats on the win, I loved how you combined the point of the challenge with some really immersive storytelling – it’s a shame this piece seemed to go relatively un-noticed, I loved it – and so I crown you WINNER!

Lovely and rather poetic. Excellent use of something so larger and incomprehensible to express something altogether human.
