Weirdly tragic. Very sad, albeit not an uncommon sentiment, but the expression is kind of worrisome, like bordering on the psychotic or something (smacking it off her face, obsessing over the photo). Unsettling little piece, which I think speaks to the power of the writing.
As far as critique, ‘the lips of mine’ came across really awkwardly.

what a spin at the end! I like the sudden change of heart though.
