The Ultimate Chronicle - Part 9
Space/Time Abe Lincoln, Nicola Tesla’s Autoviathan, and Miyamoto Musashi were circled on all sides by the sheer madness. On other planes, stars exploded and planets careened through the cosmos as the twelfth dimension threatened to tear itself apart. The three battled bravely. Miyamoto’s sword red to the hilt with the blood of misshapen birds. Tesla and Lincoln stood back to back, protecting Escher’s floating being from the swirling madness.
Tesla shouted, “This is impossible! How can that inferior-mustached madman hope to conquer all four of us?”
“I had a little help!” cackled Dali. And, just as his own work wavered, an army of grotesque humans charged in, all screaming and twisting. Riding on a swirl of paint, Pablo Picasso boomed, “Victory or death!”
Tesla turned to Lincoln. “You must charge my Megapacitor with your gauntlets, or this whole dimension will become chaos, and the rules of nature will be broken!”
“But that could destroy this whole dimension!” said Lincoln.
“We have no choice! DO IT!”
