Cheat!
Fear breathed fire into my spine, making me shiver in discomfort. Fear breathed icy icicles down my spine, making goose-pimples form in quick succession. It blows hot and cold, like the fickle old lady next to me.
“Yes?” I murmured as I looked up.
“We need you to come with us,” The security guard commanded. He was taller then me. More burly. Stronger but not faster. Fighting my way out was no-no.

“I… But I’m under orders to bring—”
My teeth gritted as I gripped my laptop harder. “But I’m just a girl lost—”
I striked. Two knees to the groin. As the security guard doubled over in pain, I ran. I knew perfectly well where the exit to the Strip is. I bounded out of the casino and into my mentor’s car.
The headlines screamed, “8 YEAR OLD GIRL AND MOTHER DUO CHEATED CASINO OF $50 million”
