Thank you for all of the comments — I’ve not been writing lately and this is getting me inspired to write more.

I would recommend revising the first part. Right now it sounds at first as if the girl is the first one to speak, since it seems like she and the boy are the only characters. It took me a while to realize that the second boy had spoken the first line.

Funny version of preparing for confession. It makes me glad I didn’t grow up Catholic, as I don’t think I would have done well with that particular ritual. I either would have said nothing or gotten way to creative.
