Write a piece centered around characters who use slang of our time period or of the Century to come.

Let’s look back at some of the great novels of the past:

16th Century Slang (Romeo and Juliet)- Do you bite your thumb at us, sir?
17th Century Slang (Paradise Lost)- Whence and what art thou, execrable shape?
18th Century Slang (Gulliver’s Travels)- Imagine with thyself, courteous reader…
19th Century Slang (Tom Sawyer)- Umf! Well, you didn’t get a lick amiss, I reckon.
20th Century Slang (Catcher in the Rye)- Sex is something I really don’t understand too hot.
21st Century Slang (YOU)- Lol. Like whatever u think could pimp out ur stuff. Make me ROFL with ur entry. Oh snap! GTG. Just make it tight! U NO WAT 2 Do

(If you feel like skipping forward a Century, please do!)

22nd Century Slang- But arrange your words in a way that we can understand the general emotion don’t just say “Garflab! I bronxed a burbishal” That could pretty much mean anything.
