A Fish

When a fish looks out
At the city’s horizon
Does the world seem upside down?

Is the ground blue and everlasting,
The sky warm and green?
The suns rays so warm
Beating up on the sky
Birds swim in the ground
And everyone flies.

Right equals wrong and evil is healthy
And good people roam the interwebs
And criminals own religion

Is the fish crazy
Or is the fish sane?
Who sets the standards for sanity?
Maybe you should be a fish sometime
It opens your eyes to the burning water
And though it hurts, you can’t stop seeing the world
Upside down.
