I've Got a Bad Feeling About This (2)

Ashlee looked back and forth between her cab, Kelsey and Jesse.
“Well… that is my cue to exit,” she said before slipping into the taxi and disappearing.

“What are you doing here?” Kelsey finally asked.
“It’s a long story, I could ask you the same thing…” Jesse said, eyeing Kelsey.
I’m twenty-one,” Kelsey said, unable to move.
“Me too,” Jesse said with a cocky grin slapped on his face.
“Says who?”
“My I.D.”
“Well that’s a lie,”
“Whatever, you don’t look so good, are you alright? Do you want to sit down?”
Kelsey nodded as Jesse dragged another chair to the closest empty table. Kelsey sat down and ran her hand over her forehead, she felt drugged, like she might float away if she didn’t hold onto her chair with her white knuckles. She couldn’t tell what was making her this way. Was it the loud music or being in Jesse’s prescence that intoxicated her. Kelsey looked into Jesse’s eyes, they looked familiar, they looked like James’s hazel eyes. Suddenly she could only hear her own irregular heartbeat.
