It's Just The Way It is Period

Outside the walls of my three bedroom apartment is a world made of truth and realistic images of sadness, misery, and lonliness. 3 blocks from my apartment is a shelter for the homeless. A flock of different races gather drinking beer and smoking crack outside the barriers of the shelter, waiting for luck to save them. They see never ending pain, they dream deep frustration.
About 10 miles from here a guy is arrested for something he never did. About another 10 miles a guy iis running from a crime he is afraid to face. He sweats guilt overtaking his heart, not strong enough to turn himself in.
In the United States millions of people are losing morale, growing cancer, losing jobs, breaking dreams, and ruining other lives. That’s the way it is, period.
