Tonight, I found myself with my laptop in my hands, trolling around the Internet for something interesting. As often happens, I felt a familiar pang of sorrow as I remembered Ficlets…that place where I would always turn in the old days.

At Ficlets, I could be creative and weave stories. Or I could hijack someone else’s thoughts and add to their art. Or I could just read and enjoy the works of John Perkins, Ana Christina, THX 0477, Jlaughter, Kevmullins, thebetweenspace, and countless others.

I decided I was going to fill this void. I was going to create a new Ficlets. I need it. The creative masses need it. The world needs it. Dare I say…it was DESTINY!!!

So, I started researching possible domain names. I looked at web-hosting options. I searched “ficlets” on google and…….found The Memorial.

I squeed.

Three hours of reading later, I was happy! Creatively energized. Bent on bringing it back to life.

Then I saw the link. Ficly.com. It’s here!
