Cole's Restaurant

Flagging down a cab, Cole straightened his tie. Since his first job as a cook, he had dreamed of owning a restaurant. The only barrier was money. Receiving a ticket and letter from the Mann heir had been a lucky break. He would have to find and thank whichever friend suggested him.

During the ride, he mentally prepared. There had been no chance to focus earlier. A 23-year-old returning from spring break was not the best seatmate. She had unsettled and excited him at the same time.

Taking a deep breath, he emerged from the cab and looked up at the building rising to the sky. Following his instructions, he used the code on the private elevator.

Cole stepped out as the doors opened. Expecting an airy office, he was shocked by the dull walls and dingy lights.

The elevator doors closed softly behind him. Another door swung open revealing bloody walls and scattered body parts. Sweat poured as he began to frantically press the elevator button. An echoing voice said, “There is no escape that way…that way…”
