Legend of Gabriél (22)

The man in black guided la Princesa and I toward the war room, but el Rey wasn’t there. Then the man pushed the wall at the very back of the room, taking us into some secret hallway. Where I was going, I had no idea. La Princesa, unlike I, was not the least bit frightened.

Es hora de saber quién es la Organización VII,” There seemed to be a whole underground tunnel filled with different rooms. I could hear many people reciting phrases as one. It gave an eerie feeling, but if this was the life of la familia real, then I had to get accustomed. “We are sworn to protect the royal family, Gabriél, and as of today, that means you. We will serve, and protect you at all costs. I am Alejandro, your loyal servant.”

I impulsively bowed in gratitude, however, my head was repeating what the man had said. “Protect you at all costs…”

That couldn’t have possibly meant murder. It couldn’t. I wiped the thought out of mind and accepted that they were good people for now. But I still had my doubts.
