I imagine Henry to be British, and Ophelia to be American. I think Henry moved over there.
Just I was re-reading and you’re right we have our own isms, and to be honest, I think that works. I think it could lead to its own complications that they’re from different sides of the world.
It also is interesting that Henry’s pushiness is distinctly un-British, and Ophelia is the one suffocating her feelings as the Brits are stereotyped as doing.
It’s like this anime, Romeo x Juliet, based on the play, and the characters of Romeo and Juliet are completely reversed. It’s a cool dynamic.
