Effective in leading me to immediately despise Mr. Blakefield. His exhibition of uncontrolled rage, willingness to beat a woman who is rendered helpless, tyrannical demeanor and closed ears all make me viciously hate him. It also leads me to become hopeful for the woman’s savior, that he might counterbalance such evil. However, I do not know what led to this circumstance. The woman may well have committed a terrible crime. Just some thoughts on trying to avoid quick judgement in reading.
