The Book IV

The girls ended up talking for nearly half an hour before Eva’s mom honked her car horn. “You can come too, since your mom isn’t here yet”, Eva pronounced. “Don’t worry; we have cookies if you’re hungry.” Teresa replied that her parents were dead and her aunt wasn’t able to pick her up until 5:30, so she would have to call her aunt if she was going anywhere. One awkward moment, a ten minute drive and a phone call later, Teresa and Eva were at Eva’s house, having the time of their lives. The next Wednesday, the girls went to grieving camp together. For some strange reason, there a mysterious malfunction in the fire alarm system that canceled all classes at the church for the next year. They started hanging out more and more often, and before they knew it, they were best friends.
