This is a slightly edited version of my earlier story, “I’ll Take an Argument and a Break-Up, To Go”, that I reposted to enter into the Dear John challenge.

There’s a good intensity to the scene here. However, the line:
“And whenever I said it made me uncomfortable”
doesn’t quite make sense. Otherwise, I quite like it.

I switched it to “you” instead of “it”. It seems to flow a bit better.
