Hawkeye glanced down at the factory floor and knew the amount of chaos he was about to cause. Without another moment’s thought, Hawkeye smashed the window in with a resonant crash.
Voices erupted inside as Hawkeye and Elletra catapulted through the opening, free falling into a war zone.
Gunshots echoed, and Elletra could barely sense that at least some were directed at her. Hawkeye growled through gritted teeth as the fabric came to its end, yanking at Hawkeye’s arm before he and Elletra dropped the ten feet of open air left.
Elletra hit the ground running, whipping out an array of small daggers at the charging men. Hawkeye quickly found Jerem dueling his way through a mass of men to get to the Earl.
Hawkeye’s eyes shifted to the Earl and was met with a steely gaze that was already on him. The Earl was simply standing on a single raised platform with ten men surrounding him. His face seemed void of life except he blinked once. Hawkeye wanted nothing more in that moment to make the Earl never blink again.
