Hunter: Sleep... NOT.

Doc did not manage to make it all the way across before Mack leaped. In seconds Roger was pinned and Jason was snarling into his ear. Mack was choking him, it looked like. Tim was telling me to stay the hell awake or he’d kill me himself. My eyes began to close when Jason came back over and lifted me up as if I was a frickin’ sack of apples. He glared at Doc and Roger, than turned and leaped out the way he’d come, which I think was thorugh a skylight. I heard the scuff of a sneaker on asphalt behind him, and then Mack was right next to us, and then Tim on the other side of us. I could barely breathe. Finally, I let my eyes close as their feet hit solid ground and they began to run.

However, I did not drift. Not even close. Jason was talking softly with Mack as they ran, and Tim was outpacing them to set something up. When we arrived, wherever that was, that was when I truly began to drift. When I woke up, the scene was much, much different. So different, it’s so signifigant that I can’t even speak of it now.
